flight from hell
worse and worse ✈️
i just flew to india for a big fat indian wedding and had the most miserable flight experience of my life. 😭 allow me to illustrate everything that went wrong:
i scheduled a grab the night before but it got cancelled 2 minutes before i had to leave … ended up paying $20 extra for a ride.
they almost didn’t let me check in because the airline staff kept insisting i had to print my evisa out … despite me literally having proof of not requiring a printed version in the official documentation and in my email.
the woman seated next to me on the flight took up a third of my seat too.
the man seated behind me kept yanking my seat back and smacking it (grown man btw).
the woman seated in front of me reclined all the way. this would’ve been if i could’ve reclined mine too, but my seat was broken!
i struggled to sleep the whole time (5am flight too…), and when i finally did, the woman next to me had to get out to use the bathroom and decided to just try stepping over me. so i woke up to ass in my face.
when we were deplaning, the man behind me had no concept of personal place and was literally fully pressed up against my backpack.
i hadn’t eaten anything. no water either.
i had a 3 hour drive still waiting for me once i exited the airport!
but now i ate a few samosas and have reunited with my family, so everything is okay now. it’s all a test. 💆♀️
