my ideal regular day
the day-to-day should be wonderful too ☀️
i’ve been thinking a lot about how i want to shape my life around living my ideal regular day while working towards greater ambitions. i want to be left wholly satisfied at the end of each day - socially, physically, and intellectually.
i want to get to a point (in the near future, like by the end of this year), where my “ideal” day is synonymous with my “regular” day. this ideal day is stripped away from add-ons, like the city i’m living in on this day, the luxury of going on a trip on this particular day, and other +1s we’d add to a “dream” day. it’s a normal day, but it’s the ideal regular.
writing something out always makes it feel more attainable.
7:00-7:30: i wake up after 8 hours of amazing sleep.
7:30-8:30: i grab a banana and finish a challenging pilates class. the walk there and back is cool, and the sun hits my face perfectly.
8:30-10:00: i eat a filling breakfast with lots of fruit while calling my family, and get ready for the day.
10:00-6:00: i get a good chunk of work done. meetings, lunch, and deep work. i’ll take breaks to check out cute cafes and switch locations as much as my heart desires. maybe i end up coworking with a friend for a few hours.
6:00-9:00: i get dinner with a friend, meet someone new over a meal, pop over to an event, or make dinner at home and eat while calling my loved ones. i have some sort of social plan (even if it’s simply a facetime call) with food involved. perhaps i rollerblade and catch a beautiful sunset after dinner.
9:00-10:00: i write my blog, and it’s an insight i just recently formed and feel passionately about.
10:00-11:00: i wind down for bed, watch an episode of jjk, and go to sleep after a cup of tea (hitting ~2.5 litres of water for the day). :)
soon, this ideal day will be my wonderful every day. i’ll make sure it is.
work hard for the near future to be wonderful as well.
