5 days in shanghai 🇨🇳

day 1 → french concession
polly coffee (my fav cafe from the trip, also work-friendly)
wukang mansion
picked up some pastries at apolita bakery
copped a perfume @ to summer
zhongyaotang neo-chinese gelato with jellycat vibes
walk down an fu road (adidas, harmay, smfk, deja vu recycle store, etc.)
walk down huaihei middle road (mason prince, haus nowhere, songmont, etc.)
matcha wang for matcha with sheep foam art
suxin vegetarian for dinner
day 2 → rainy day
traditional breakfast @ zhang shifu
jing’an temple + jing’an sculpture park
grabbed orange coffee + a fudge brownie @ coffee enough
got some work done @ polly
dinner @ barque
day 3 → lots of tea
had a wonderful tea ceremony and made a friend in tianzifang art district
ate some heavenly pancakes @ w coffee soufflé
walked around xintiandi area (xintiandi phase II, hirono ono, maison margiela pop-up, etc.)
walked around julu road (tagi, goodbai, melomela, basement fg, aromemanpo, etc.)
dinner & got some work done @ polly
day 4 → my favourite day!
shanghai museum
people’s park & checked out the marriage market
lunch @ jiajia soup dumplings
1933 old milfun
walked along the river down to north bund riverside park (also got some coffee + cake @ m stand)
pudong art museum (unexpectedly caught the sunset on the rooftop terrace)
fuyoumen wholesale market to haggle for some souvenirs
walked around yu garden, shanghai old street, and city god temple
walked up to the bund to see the nighttime skyline
day 5 → an artsy local scene
explored every inch of m50 creative park
walked over to 1000 trees and stumbled into a beautiful riverside cherry blossom market
went to an all-inclusive spa (massage, sauna & baths) with unlimited fruit, ice cream, and food for a few hours
walked down to north bund riverside park again for a nighttime view
packed up for the airport!
i had a ton of fun and definitely stayed hydrated this time around …
