sf for the summer
my plan and intentions 🌉
i touched down in sf today (after a handful of delays and an incredibly overweight suitcase), and was reminded of how much i do actually love the sunshine, water, and greenery of the city. also just as lovely, a lot of my friends are in sf this summer as well.
i was looking at my “find my” map of friends, and it was really fun seeing just how many icons were filling up sf. it’s going to be a summer of many sidequests.
more importantly, it’s going to be a summer of so much learning. i’m joining browserbase this summer as a growth engineering intern; this basically means that i write code and blogs for the sake of capturing a wider reach and building a credible technical brand. this looks like writing up technical blogs and coding iframes, spinning up side projects and shipping use cases for the browserbase platform, creating automated workflows around seo/aeo, and a lot more on the growth team.
i love the team, and i’m really excited to get my hands deep in the weeds of both the sexy and unsexy work that goes into scaling a startup.
this is also the first time i will ever be formally working out of an office with an actual schedule to build the other parts of my day with. it’ll be a great learning experience for me to navigate people and work with clear communication.
my professional goal for this summer is to become excellent at building tools and engines that drive relevant attention to a product/brand consistently.
my personal goal is to become an excellent communicator and to relentlessly pursue challenges.
my health goal is to remain consistent with pilates classes - taking 2-3/week.
finally, my social goal is to organize interesting group hangouts with new and old friends in the city.
i’m putting this out here so it holds me accountable. :)
